I started with this type of home test. Results were 'very mild apnea' and they wouldn't treat it. I pressed for an autopap just to see and it worked. Saved my butt. So, while a home study isn't near as good as a lab study, partially because they can't see if cpap solves the problem, this can be done if they will send you home with an autopap and guess at the pressure range.
