I don't mind if you eat steak since you weren't the one asking for the advice. Please make a separate reply to the original person posting the topic. Advise them to continue on their present diet and seek out a doctor that will authorize electro-mechanical assistance for breathing. That kind of chat will keep the 10 to 15 people who follow the forum happy.
