Inspired by Alamo Joe, I started browsing the net and I was surprised at how much info there is on a connection between diabetes and apnea -- there IS a pretty definite connection. Most think using a CPAP should improve BSLs, because it would help relieve the nighttime stress you speak of. It's still curious to me that my Dawn Effect started not long after I BEGAN using a CPAP. I wonder if somehow the CPAP created some stress I'm not aware of, even though I'm sleeping better with it.
