Well, don't give up. Just keep working on the problem, one way or another, until it gets better. Keep talking with your docs. And when I mentioned having a bedtime snack, the nuts that "eco" mentioned are a good carb/protein snack. Nuts have carbs of course, but they're relatively low, and the fat and protein in nuts slow down conversion of carbs to blood sugar. I'd think there are lots of people in your situation, and the docs must be able to provide more help for you. Tell them I said so! Best wishes.
