A few years ago I as diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety. I started to put on weight. Lost sex drive. Life was miserable. Started snoring heavily. Heavy sweating at night. Two months diagnosed as a diabetic. Stomach wasn't feeling good since September went in for a colonoscopy and discovered diverticultis. From the age of 47 to know 51 things have crashed. Diabetic. Depression. Diverticultis. Then saw a specialist yesterday and he looked at my record for past few years and simply looked up at me and said "I'm 90% sure you have sleep apnea" I go for the tests next week and was told with the treatment my quality of life we approve drastically! Question. With up to 20 million people with this disorder in North America why is it now known more?
