I agree with your doc. Blood sugar, depression, snoring (don't know about the diverticulitis)should all improve -- probably greatly. Remember it takes a few weeks or a few months to get used to a CPAP, if that's what you get, so don't get discouraged. I felt better after the first night I used it, but there are still hassles and adjustments to deal with. It's more than worth it. I think it is becomimg more known over the last 10 years, but it's still not one of the first things docs think of. Best wishes.
