Posted by biracialqt on December 12, 2007 at 08:47:35:Please help me! I dont know if this has happened with anyone else, but I have an awesome remstar cpap machine with humidifier & have just begun using the comfortlite 2 headgear (which I initially LOVED because it fits around my head like a baseball cap and the tube is brought up OVER my head versus on either side of head which is perfect since I am a side sleeper).
anyhow, the first week I used it--it was like a DREAM! However, for some reason after about a week I was totally aware of air leaking out around my nostrils, where the mask is in closest contact with my nose. or I would wake up because the nasal portion would be completely detatched or pointing AWAY from my nose--like waaay under my nose. mI tried to adjust the mask in every way possible, and then realized that the only way it seems to be like seamless is when I PUT THE NASAL SECTIONS INSIDE OF MY NOSTRILS...UNTIL I wake up in about three hours because water actually getting in my nose!!!!
has this ever happened to anyone? do you put the nose plug part inside your nose? any advice at all?
-IM SOOOOO SLEEPY!thanks and HELP!
