I gave you some advice about losing weight. I should explain that I know a lot about this. I also want to explain the benefit of including weight training (this advice is for women too btw.). The important benefit to including weight training is that you will be able to increase your metabolism. You will burn fat even while you sleep. A metaphor is that you "build a bigger engine". With aerobic activity, try to build up to about 40 mins. After about 25 mins, you will start to burn fat, so if you go for a 40 min walk, you will be getting in some good fat burning time.

As I said before, start out with what you can manage. Don't kill yourself. Even if you begin with a five minute walk, that is okay. Next time, try for six minutes, then seven. That is just fine. You will get there.

One last thing. A good, well balanced, work out routine will include three elements:

1. Aerobic activity,
2. anaerobic activity (weight resistance training), and
3. flexibity (e.g. yoga, stretching).

If you can, try to include all of them. Very few people (including many atheletes) do that. Lots of people ignore the flexibility (stretching etc.), but it is important too.
