Hey there. I'm not a doctor, but I've been diabetic (type 1) for about 23 years so I can speak from some experience on this matter ;o) Look into 'dawn phenomenon'(sorry if the spelling is off), it has something to do with the liver secreting bg raising hormones right around the time your body is getting ready to get up. Maybe this is a 'diabetic' thing and not so much an 'apnea' thing? Good Luck!!
