More Info on CPAP & Security

Posted by Barb (Seattle) on January 09, 2008 at 21:51:57:

I had put the CPAP in my carry on suitcase instead of the normal case for it because even though they would have accepted 3 pieces of carry-on (backpack, carry-on suitcase and CPAP) I just didn't want to deal with 3 pieces. So after putting everything in the box and walking through the metal detector, I saw the woman calling me back and she had taken my CPAP out of the carry-on suitcase saying that next time to put it in it's own box. Just for your information in case your flying soon. Just like a laptop, put it separately in it's own box. Wish I would have known that before I 'hit' the security checkpoint LOL
