DH, please let us know what law is violated by adjusting your pressure.
Is it possible this is simply an urban legend in part perpetuated by the sleep industry to discourage people so they will be able to charge for it.
Many practitioners are very willing for patients to tweak their pressures if they are knowleedgeable and have the softyware to help in idetermining proper pressures.
Of course, it it necessary to have an APAP to better determine these pressures.
A person will never have any objective data unless they have data capable machines anad understand them.
A person should NEVER attempt to change their pressure based on whims or intuition.
