I recommend that you look into this. You have everything to gain by doing so. Only good things can of your investigating the possibility. Either, you will learn that you have sleep apnea, in which case, there are now good treatments for it. This scenario means you will get more energy and be able to reduce cardiovascular risks. The other possibility is that you will test negative for OSA. You will be able rule out that you have apnea.
A split night study will tell you the answer. If you need to know where a sleep centre is located near you, please ask. I have information.
I recommend you read "The Promise of Sleep" by William C. Dement, MD, PhD. There is a good deal of information on all kinds of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea. Many other types of disorders including restless leg disorders, etc. are also explained in great detail. You can get the book for free in your local public library. It might be a good source of information for you.
