New CPAP user with a question

Posted by bap40 on February 12, 2008 at 08:15:42:

My first night on the CPAP machine went well for me, but my mask had ridden up on my face and I did not feel that I was actually getting the pressure in the right spot when I woke up this morning. I am assuming that I need to tighten up the straps. Or could it be something else? I have a nasal mask that is pretty small, because I am a small person. Could it have been a mask issue? When I was testing it out, the tech had to keep tightening the headgear because of a leak under the left eye. Last night I had no leak at that spot, so I thought is was tight enough... any info is appreciated so that I can make sure things are right tonight?
