I have a full face mask, but I also had similiar problems with it moving around. I found that strap tension had very little to with the mask staying on your face, and when the mask was tight it tended to leak even more. When I loosened that straps the natural suction of the mask seemed to work better. Give it a little push towards your face when you put it on, then it forms a seal, kind of the same thing you do with swim goggles.
