Posted by bap40 on February 13, 2008 at 06:18:13:As a new CPAP user, I am having mask issues, as I said in my firt post. The first night it had slipped. So last night I made sure it was nice and tight and in the right place before I went to sleep. My question is, am I supposed to feel the pressure?? I did at the sleep lab, but haven't since. My husband says I am not snoring nor jerking anymore. The only mask they tried on me at the clinic was a Fisher&Paykel FlexiFit 406. My pressure is set to 10. I have been using the ramp feature and am asleep before I know it so can't say for sure if I am feeling the pressure right from the start. I don't plan on using ramp setting tonight. Anyway, I need some input from some seasoned users. Thanks so much.
