My pleasure. I have seen several articles on this topic. One of the links on the ResMed homepage is for a study where they discovered that sleep apnea alters the way your body distributes insulin. I would cut and past the URL for you, but ResMed's site is down right now. People in this forum have made reference to that study before.

There is more on this topic, you can see by googling "link between OSA and diabetes" Many articles are from a few years ago when they only knew that there was a strong correlation between people having OSA and diabetes, but did not know why it happened.

Seems that the good news is that by treating OSA with CPAP therapy, you also improve your diabetes treatment. You can see that in this article, for example...
