Hi Ya'll!
Just a LONG note to let ya'll in on a few things. The foot pain I've been having is tendonitis along with a bunion. We found out the hard way that I can't use cortisone, I had a severe, painful reaction; based on a scale of 1-10, the pain from it was about a 13!I am getting diabetic shoes and went to Centers for Mobility to get measured for my shoes.
It was while I was there that I got: THE BAD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!Someone had come into my podiatrist's office, shot and KILLED one of the receptionists and wounded the girl's husband, he's in critical condition at the hospital. I have only been seeing my podiatrist for a few weeks now but she has already done so much for me. She found a dose of darvocet that actually works for me and she has taken the time to really listen...this is such sad news, I was already a grump today and adding that information just added to it and made my day worse!!!
I saw an allergist today, my old ENT who did my sinus surgery in 97', lord......they diagnosed me with so much stuff, I came home with about 3 inches worth of papers to read and several prescriptions to get filled and take. They want to do a CT Scan and an MRI, plus a hearing test, not to mention the blood test in which they took about 9 viles of blood from me. I had already gotten poked at my PCP's office because my Neurologist wanted some lab work done on me to try to figure out why I have the memory loss.
So, I've got all this stuff going on and then I have this sudden DEATH and I'm not sure how to react. I am going to call my dr and make sure she is okay and to let her know that I am available if she needs to talk about it. I am hoping that's a good idea, it's very rare for me to come across a dr's office that has been under attack!!!
Please keep my doctor and her receptionist's family in your prayers! *it's going to be a LONG Night*
