Has ANYONE ever figured out why there is a correlation between the CPAP and diabetes? Maybe my condition is different because I also have a rare nerve disease and Fibromyalgia...
Unlike most people who are partially awake when they stop breathing, I am FULLY AWAKE when I realize that I have stopped breathing, that is about 90% of the reason why I quit using the machine right now until we can get the stuff figured out with my sinuses(which btw, I have a deviated septum, and my turbinates grew back, and they grew back in LONGER!!! Ugh! I forgot to mention that in the other post). I foresee surgery in the near future, and they will probably just do one great big surgery at one time, take out my adenoids, take out my turbinates, fix my septum and then I should be all done and finally able to breathe and hopefully sleep!!!
But I just can't even bother trying to use that CPAP machine even with the warm water for humidification purposes for the simple fact that I wake up KNOWING that I quit breathing in the middle of the night.

Ok, I "think" I've gotten everything said. But if anyone has any idea why there is a correlation between the CPAP and diabetes I would appreciate it. My drs would appreciate it too!
