Mask trouble

Posted by chickweed on March 18, 2008 at 07:52:31:

I have RLS, PLMD and SOA, RDI of 121 to 158 events per hr and desat to 90.4. My SOA problem due to genetics, I am a female with small throat, small nose and face structure and I can't find a mask that fits properly. It appears that they don't make masks for my profile so they leak, if I tighten to the point of pain it works somewhat but creates other problems, headaches, deep indentations on my face and nose which don't get a chance to go away. These masks should be custom made and fitted, I have been sleep deprived for almost a week ON the CPAP,I did better on the drugs alone altho I still take them. Anyone with the same problem and if so please share your experience?.
