I am one of those one hit wonders, I think I posted back in 2004. I read this forum faithfully and it has taught me a lot. I am in the Keys and we do not have any doctors that really know much about sleep apnea what I do know I have learned from this forum. I have finally, after three years of being on Cpap therapy, gotten to a comfortable place with everything that I can get a good night sleep. I have a brand new auto pap with A-flex!! I compare it to a scuba regulator in the 80's to one made now. What a difference in breathing and comfort!
I just wanted you (everyone that posts here) to know that you probably saved my life. By reading these posts I realized how bad my apnea was and how important it was to be faithful to my cpap thearapy. (my O2 fell to 57% during the sleep study) I am a 40 year old female 5'9" and 193 pounds. I know I need to loose some weight and I am hoping that getting the sleep I need will help. Good Luck and sweet dreams!
