I have one of the older Remstar Auto machines with CFLEX.
On my machine the ramp function is disabled when running in APAP (automatic adjustment)mode and can only be enabled when running in CPAP (fixed pressure)mode.
To check press the ramp button when pressure increases. If pressure reduces machine is in CPAP mode and will therefore not adjust automatically to apneas.
Not sure if this applies to the newer M series?
You may also want to Google Remstar Auto M-Series.
