Multiple Sleep Disorders

Posted by chickweed on April 02, 2008 at 16:58:57:

To those of you who are benefiting from CPAP. I have severe OSA,severe RLS, PLMD and several other sleep disorders. In spite of being optimistic having recently acquired a CPAP machine I move around so much because of the other sleep disorders that all of the masks I have tried get displaced and I spend the night trying to adjust because of leakage. I am more sleep deprived than when I was on straight drugs, I still take Clonazapam and Zopiclone (Ambien) but because of the other disorders, especially the RLS I am not getting a chance to benefit from the CPAP. If anyone else has multiple sleep orders including Apnea please tell me how you deal with it. I haven't had a natural sleep in years and currently no significant sleep for over two weeks. I am at the end of my rope as I am on my own, have no relatives and no significent support system.
