I'm like you, DaveL. I've been using the same Remstar Plus machine for about 7 years, the only machine I've ever used. It sits on the floor next to the bed, and honestly my wife and I never hear it. When I put on the Breeze headgear, all noise ceases and I promptly fall asleep. I suppose I could pay more and get more features, but really don't see any need to do that. Sometimes I wake up and start feeling around for my mask before realizing that it's on my face. CPAP has been like a miracle for me, and I just wish that everyone could adjust to it and profit from it as I have. There was a question a while back whether anyone looks forward to going to sleep using a CPAP machine. I do! And I suspect many other CPAP users do also. We need to get that message to those new users who visit this forum looking for encouragement. I remember when the sleep tech first put the mask on my face at 10cm pressure and I thought, "My life is over." Now, I no longer even notice any pressure and enjoy "breathing EZ."
