Salads currently, very little fat, few carbs, some calories, on a restricted diet. You know in that first post of mine about this whole thing with my foot? I am STILL having trouble with it? Podiatrist says it's inflammation of the metatarsal joints and I'm in an airwalker brace and they suggested some other kind of ankle brace which mine may be similar to what they have and are trying to sell. When I use the CPAP now, I have more luck with it which is a good thing and I think it was the diet change and that I'm starting to get my diabetes back into control, I'm even remembering to test myself at least 3 times a day instead of just the once that I actually HAVE to.
I am hoping that the CPAP WILL in fact help with my diabetes once everything settles down(I just had knee surgery on April 3,2008) and I've lost weight living at my moms house because I am so stressed out, I don't really eat there, I can hardly sleep there for that matter, the couch is the closest I have come to that is soft enough for me to use and to use the CPAP with. I've been on this diet for the past 3-4 weeks and I've lost 16 pounds so far.
