Hello,
I have recently been diagnosed with mod obstructive sleep apnea. I got my cpap machine on MOnday. Went right home and took a nap and used it every night Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night on the couch. Felt a little better, woke up earlier and more refreshed. Then on Thursday night I slept in bed with my husband. I slept 14 hours and it was just like it was without the cpap.

(My husband needs treatment for restless leg and probably apnea. He continuously moves during the night. Legs flopping, sitting up in bed, head at bottom of bed, same routine every night and he says he doesn't realize any of it. He won't go for test but he might now that I am not sleeping in bed with him any more. He takes dexedrine for ADD which is probably why he has more energy than me.)

Anyway back to me. I am going to go back to the couch but how long until I get energy back? I am 51 and I am suffering at work because of confusion and mistakes.
I do take an anti-depressant (zoloft and Prozac earlier) for 20 years.
Also,
I have several things that have afflicted me, compulsive picking really bad in the last few years and would like to know what causes what and what I can do to treat them.

THanks for reading this.

Should a few weeks be long enough using the machine to be caught up in my sleep?
Can compulsive picking and anxiety be a result of sleep deprivation?
WHen should I be looking at something else for my lack of energy and desire to do anything?
