Hi,

Call the place that did your sleep study and ask who the the doctors in your area that specialize in sleep apnea. The sleep labs will be able to give you the names of the best in the area.

You can have a mask too tight and they will leak more. It sounds counter intuative but it works that way.

If you use a nasal mask you have to make sure your mouth does not open. Otherwise the CPAP pressure goes up your nose and blows out your mouth.

There are two types of apnea; 1) obstructive, 2) central. CPAP will treat the obstructive apneas, the central apneas are brain related.

Write down your questions, even the ones answered here and find a local specialist and ask your questions.

Later,
Rolling Thunder
