I remember an earlier post. A woman had complained about getting up 4 or 5 times a night to urinate. Following treatment for OSA it was once a night.

I think that it works this way:
When you have an apnea the diaphragm tries harder to overcome the obstruction. The body interprets the force as a desire to urintate and away you go.

In my opinion (I am not a doctor) the same thing happens for defecation.

I experience fewer trips to the bathroom for # 2 following OSA treatment.
