I've never heard of anyone permanently losing suitcases or
luggage. I'm going to tell them that it is medical equipment and
to BE VERY CAREFUL with it. Maybe they can put special papers
on it like they do when stuff is fragile. It just is not worth
dragging around all those suitcases. Trying to fit it somewhere
while everyone waits for you in the aisle *yuk*

If they lose it, I'll report it lost and maybe my insurance will
cover a new one. If they don't, I'll buy another one. Just not
concerned.
