Mr. D.
I was wondering if you could do a favor for us. Many people on the non-cpap side are trying various types of surgical interventions. Some of them are kind of "new" in that we are the first generation to go through them and write from a subjective point of view. Many surgeons concede that these operations have not been carefully studied (no long term data).
I was wondering if you would consider please writing about once every two years on your somnoplasty. Many people want to know if the results last over the long term. As I have said, so other types of surgeries (e.g. UPPP, LAUP, etc.), have proven to give short-term benefits which do not last. We don't know much about somnoplasty. Dr. Dement wrote in the Promise of Sleep, that he had a high regard for somnoplasty.
Would you consider checking in (on the Non-CPAP forum)from time to time, e.g. once every two years or so, and tell us how it is going (good or bad)?
