Vintage CPAP did not work well....

We all need to recognize how far apnea treatment has come. After decades of failure beginning in the 1950's, engineers trying to perfect CPAP realized that air should be blown into the mouth side of the human head. This picture is a sad reminder of what many sufferers had to endure until this monumental advancement was made.

This was BEFORE microwave ovens, the internets, and global warming!
