Why So Expensive In Canada?

With the CAD/USD at par, why do we have to pay double for supplies in Canada? I recently got a Resmed Quattro fullface mask and headgear (with CD and in sealed factory plastic bags) online for $55.00. Here we would pay $320. Usual US price for it is about $160. Methinks something is rotten in the State of Canada.
