I have not seen this pole but I can tell you that I used to have my tubing just laying next to me and it would get in the way of my sleeping. I have a 4 poster bed and I tried draping the tubing around the post and having it hang straight down. It made quite a difference. Way more comfortable and I spend more time sleeping and less time fighting my tubing as I change positions during the night.
