Problems I have had while travelling with CPAP:

Power not provided all night - travelled to a small island in Thailand called Kho Tao. Stayed at Ban's Resort, which is a PADI 5 Star scuba resort. Had interupted power there. Power went out a few times for periods of about 10 mins.

Problems with getting CPAP on airlines. Was denied permission about two years ago to use my CPAP on United Airlines from San Francisco to Tokyo. Also denied permission by Air Canada to use my CPAP on flight from Tokyo to Vancouver. Was not able to sleep on those flights. Felt this was a form of discrimination. Feel that I should have the same right to sleep on the flight that other passengers have. I still want to take legal action so that rules will be changed.

Voltage: Used CPAP all over Asia. In Japan, there is a wierd voltage (100 volts - yeah, your read that right). Used CPAP in Thailand at 220 volts. Used CPAP in California, USA, Canada. Never had any problem whatsoever. I am using RESMED. It adapts to the local currency. plug it into the wall and you wait a second or two then ">>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WELCOME>>>>>>>>>>>", and it fires up. Very satisfied with the ease of travel.
