If you're not treating your allergies, this would be a good time to start. Using saline sprays, something like Nasonex, and keeping that humidity up all help. I stopped being a mouth breather for perhaps the first time in my life after getting on CPAP with heated humidity. Lack of humidity can cause a reaction and congestion that is absolutely miserable. Stay away from Afrin; most people report a difficult time getting off of it. Good luck.
