Opus nasal pillows interface

Posted by Cinba on July 10, 2008 at 08:40:59:

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and want to thank you for your posts. They are very helpful. I have just recently made a commitment to myself to find a mask that works and use my machine. (I've was first diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea seven years ago but never really dealt with it until I became so sleep deprived I had no choice.)

I have just started using the Opus nasal pillows interface and it seems like it might work well for me. My problem is that I usually sleep on my side and the headgear that is on my face is making indentations and marks on my cheeks. It's been almost four hours since I took my headgear off and I can still see marks on my left cheek. Has anyone dealt with this and found something soft that can be wrapped around the straps to make them not leave such deep indents and be less scratchy and irritating.

Thanks in advance.
