Masks are very individual things. What works for one does not work for another. He may have to try a number of different types to get the most comfortable fit. Yes, sleep studies can be a hassle. I highly recommend that you move heaven and earth to get an auto-adjusting CPAP with the software so you and your husband can monitor his sleep data on a nightly basis. It's my understanding the CPAP companies don't like to have the software in the hands of the end user, but I, and many others on here, feel it's a godsend.

Good luck to you both. Life will be much better with successful apnea treatment.
