What do your headaches feel like?

Posted by lolah on July 18, 2008 at 05:39:54:

Hi there. I am a 27 year old female who has suffered from daily headaches for 8 years. I have been to several doctors, been prescribed 19 different medications and no doctor can seem to diagnose my problem. My dad mentioned the other day that I should look into sleep apnea. I researched the symptoms and I have several of them. I am currently overweight (just had a baby), but have no other diagnosed health problems.

My headaches are always on one side of my head behind my left eye and at the base of my skull. It is a dull throbbing pain that eventually turns into a severe headache. It literally feels like someone is jabbing my eye socket with an ice pick.
