Thanks STG.

All of us have our experiences.

I sleep poorer in warm weather than cool weather.

My analysis is the blood vessels expand with increasing temperature. When the vessels of the nose expand they reduce the size of the nasal passages requiring more pressure.

Prior to tongue advancement surgery a sleep study was performed in October 1992. The surgery was in February 1993 and the post operation study was in July 1993.

I warned the surgeon that I slept poorer in warm weather and for that reason he should not be too surprised if the results of the post op sleep study in July weren't great.

His reaction to the sleep study results was one of horror. (I describe it as his ego was splattered all over the wall.)

The surgery reduced the nocturnal 'potty' trips.

I was impressed by the fact that he changed the bandages.

He had additional tests made to check up on everything.

Thanks

CA Alamo Joe
