I think Reno's strap is just what you need because it does not touch your chin. Rather it puts slight pressure on your lower lip instead.

Place your finger under your lower lip and slightly press up, you will not be able to open your mouth at all and it is comfortable.

I do not have personal experience with this because my bipap hose has an end piece which attaches to my trach, plastic to plastic so to speak. I never had the common mask problems others have.
