You are right on the money about the eye problem. That is from air blowing into your eyes. Easy to fix by adjusting the mask.

I felt a sense of empowerment by gaining access to the clinical menu. I turned mine up a bit because I was feeling underventilated (was set 4-20 cms). Without CPAP my AHI stat was at 35/hr. When it was set at 4-20 my stat was at 5/hr. When I jacked it up to about 10 cms (by gaining access to the clinical menu) my AHI stat dropped to 1.8 per hour. I like it at 10. I have experimented with different pressures, and I have found that if you go too high, you will also get apneas from too high a setting.
