Just over the past few months I have been noticing myself waking at night feeling like I have stopped breathing or need to take a breath.

This might only happen 3-5 times a night and it is maybe only 1 or 2 nights a week, not every day. I am not tired during the day and I don’t really snore a whole lot. I am 32 years old and a very petite so I am not overweight (so far!) Could I have sleep apnea without any other symptoms than those few episodes per week or could it be something else?

If it was sleep apnea, I am guessing it would be a mild form-would there be any treatments needed for what I am describing?

Thanks for your help!
Nervous Nellie
