Posted by elflight1 on August 01, 2008 at 17:10:55:0riginally i was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea and put on CPAP machine--shortly afterwords, i began having vivid dreams in which i was a very active participant---now the sleep study people and a psychiatrist that monitors my meds(i have quite a few because of several illnesses) have told me that as soon as i go to sleep, i hit REM and stay there all the time i sleep---if i wake up, i often am carrying on dialogue i had in the dream and when i go back to sleep, the dream picks up where it left off. It happens even when i nap during day. So I am always tired and have a headache. This happens whether or not i am on CPAP. None of the doctors seem to know what to do about it other than to say i need to find a way to break this cycle of what they all are calling "a serious sleep disorder"---any ideas? thanks
