I felt compelled to email FOX News this morning after they interviewed some female doctor from New York about this study. The doctor kept emphasizing weight loss and surgery as the best options for treating apnea. When the topic of CPAP treatment came up, she was more concerned with the ugliness of the mask and its inconvenience than with its efficacy. I kept hoping a group of apnea sufferers would storm the studio and tell her that she was putting out messages that might prevent undiagnosed apnea sufferers from seeking treatment by CPAP, which after six years of use I'm convinced is the treatment most likely to benefit the typical apnea sufferer (OK, there's no "typical" sufferer, but I think you know what I mean).
