If you are concerned then you should use a voltage/current surge protector. Most inexpensive power strips with surge protection will work, however, they make high end surge protectors for network servers that monitor the voltage and frequency and makes adjustments when needed. They can be expensive. You can get an good advanced surge protector for less than $20. For about 50 bucks more and up you can get surge protectors with battery backup built in, in case you lose electricity. The cost depends on how many hours you want the backup battery to last.
