Posted by Daniel on August 25, 2008 at 18:25:45:ANY INPUT ON THESE NUMBERS WOULD BE GREAT. I have been battling sleep apnea for three years and had tonsils/uppp/ect removed and my RDI of 42 and AHI 28 has gotten better as per sleep study, but I am still tired and fatigued. Could I have another disorder. Here are the results of sleep study after UPPP, but before MMA surgery. MY BIG QUESTION COULD 66 HYPOPS CAUSE 49 AWAKENINGS?
Total sleep time: 365.5
SLeep eff. 84%
stage shifts 180 I think are high with RDI of 11 rem rdi 25.5
awakenings 49 I think are high with RDI of 11 rem rdi 25.5
rem periods 4
rem latency 67.5
stage one 4.2
stage two 68.9
stage 3 and 4 9.5
rem 17.4
total hypops 66
ahi/rdi all hypops 11.0
rem 25.5techs comments snoring, flow limitations, and hypops were observed.
Note: Since this study I have had mma surgery and I am now dreaming (18 days ago) but I am still fatigued and tired. Any thoughts would be great.
