UARS & Auto CPAP

I have Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS), probably associated with asthma. I have been on a CPAP for 7 years - not much relief. Pulmonologist just prescribed an Auto CPAP and I know some autos don't work well with UARS. Previous postings only mentioned the Goodnight 420E; however, several other companies are now indicating their machines will register flow inhalation limitations. When I asked my DME, they just stared at me like they were the ones sleep deprived for years, rather than me. I called two companies directly, but the question seemed beyond them. Any suggestions?
