Some of these cases of vertigo/dizzyness can be caused by the type of mask you use (the type you were issued) and/or the exhale pressure of the CPAP (or lack or exhale relief). You were probably given the equipment and also the bold advice that this will solve your problems, then no follow up. CPAP therapy problems require adjustments to the gear. You've got to work at it. Mask types make a big difference. Some masks are designed to vent slightly more air than others. For some people, CO2 retention has to be fine tuned. If the balance isn't quite right, a person can breathe too rapidly and never achieve restful sleep. Also, be sure to ask for a trial on a CPAP that has exhale relief. This can make a big difference in your results.
