I have a question for those sleep geeks and MDs. The medical director in the lab I worked at who was considered one of the best in the city of Portland, OR said that due to new research for COPD patients on home BiPAP showed no improvement in mortality vs using CPAP. This was a large study in Chest magazine which I did read. Now this was about 6 to 8 years ago. Does anyone know of this study and has there been new studies to contradict this moderately old research?
I can't find this research anymore either and would like to get my hands on it if anyone can help.
