What I read in the original post is "verbal aggression" on the part of her partner serious enough to cause this lady to seek advice from this forum. That sounds a lot more serious than a general "crabbiness" caused by lack of sleep. I can only speak for myself, but before treating my sleep apnea, I was not verbally aggressive, or aggressive in any manner, toward my wife or loved ones. I was just tired. I guess I can agree that disturbed sleep can make a person testy, but I would be cautious about accepting his excuse that a problem with his apnea treatment is the cause for this behavior. When someone complains of "verbal agression," I suspect "verbal abuse," and there's no excuse for that.
