Full Face Masks have a greater potential for leaks than nasal only masks. You may have to try a few types of FF masks to find the one that works the best for you.
On the machine end of the leak, just about all of the newer machines compensate for small leaks, but it is also well known that with auto adjusting machines, the pressure response can go out of wack in the midst of a larger leak.
You shouldn't give up on trying to solve a known leak, especially one that is hitting your eye or eyes. This can cause the problem you mentioned. If there seems to be no way to solve a leak during the night that is hitting your eyes, you may have to get some kind of small goggles to wear to bed, such as swim racing goggles or tanning goggles.
Most of the daily reporting on PAP machines uses a 12 hr therapy day from 12:01 pm to 12:00 noon the next day. In that frame, each hr is counted and averaged for AHI. I imagine that the weekly total is just an average of the days in the week. If you skip one day in a week, I don't think that would add to be much of a difference for the week. Along those lines, I would limit your own tracking of this data for psychological reasons as it doesn't lead to an improvement, usually. What helps sleep the most is eating an good food diet and getting daily exercise.
